Weave: Coral

The term “weave: Coral” in relation to a microfiber cloth refers to a specific type of fabric with a particular knitting structure. The “Coral” weave is often used in the creation of microfiber cloths because it has an extremely soft surface and high absorbent capacity. This type of weave has fibers that resemble a coral or flower-like shape, with many filaments protruding, increasing the fabric’s surface area and allowing for better capturing of dirt, dust, and product residues. It is particularly suitable for automotive detailing as it is gentle on surfaces, minimizing the risk of scratches while enabling effective cleaning.

Medium-plush pile

The expression “medium-plush pile” describes the length and density of the fabric’s pile. Specifically, for microfiber cloths, it indicates superior softness and density that make them particularly suitable for buffing, the phase of polishing and removing detailing products residues such as waxes and polishes. A “medium-plush” pile means that the fabric fibers are long enough to provide a cushioning surface that can hold products and absorb moisture effectively but not so long as to become unwieldy or less effective in residue removal. This type of fabric is ideal for achieving a smooth, streak-free finish on delicate or glossy surfaces.
